The increasing miniaturization of electronic circuits and Switched Mode power supplies being integrated into PCB philosophy, low profile components are necessary to overcome height restrictions. In some cases the conventional Windings can be replaced by printed circuit tracks directly onto the PCB. The RM core’s low profile shape and ease of construction give significant advantages including, fast error free winding and efficient repeatable performance.
